Welcome to that weird season where the sky can’t decide between boiling you or soaking you. Whether you’re dodging puddles in Andheri or steaming in a non-AC cab near CST, here’s how to stay cool, clean, and collected

Tiny mood boosters
Having a hot cup of soup, a cool face mist, and your fave monsoon playlist is a must. Tiny joys matter. Roll-on perfumes or deo wipes can be a game-changer on muggy days. Smell good, feel good; Rainy days are chaotic enough. Pack light, carry ziplock pouches, and maybe throw in a paperback. It’s Mumbai — you’ll get wet. Lean into it. Just make sure your phone is waterproof.

Not just water
Even if you’re not sweating buckets, humidity dehydrates sneakily. Drink more than you think. Aim for 2.5–3L a day. Infuse water with mint, cucumber, or citrus to feel instantly fresher. You can also snack on watermelon, cucumbers, oranges, and leafy greens. They hydrate and cool your system. And definitely, watch the chai. It causes dehydration.
