After the Hyderabad lockdown due to Glanders, and five horses testing positive for the same disease at Bengaluru, comes the news that a horse which travelled from Chennai to Mysore is reported to have tested positive. 

Glanders is a bacterial disease which affects horses and can be fatal. It can also be transferred to humans.
