<p><a href="https://mid-day.com/sports/football/article/kylian-mbappe-brace-helps-madrid-beat-celta-vigo-3-2-23535704" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"><strong>Real Madrid</strong></a> are reportedly ready to pay a transfer fee to <a href="https://mid-day.com/sports/football/article/carragher-unhappy-as-liverpools-trent-plans-real-madrid-move-23535706" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"><strong>Liverpool</strong></a> in order to buy Trent Alexander-Arnold in time for the Club World Cup in June.</p>

<p>On May 5, the defender posted a video on social media, announcing his decision to leave the Reds after his contract expires in June. Though not yet officially confirmed, Alexander-Arnold is expected to sign with Spanish giants Real Madrid.</p>
<p>However, according to English media reports, Los Blancos want the right-back before the Club World Cup which kicks-off on June 4, for which they are ready to pay a fee &mdash; as opposed to signing him for free post the expiry of his contract.</p>
