The 5th round of the FA Cup produced some memorable matches, as favourites Arsenal and Manchester City both advanced to the next rounds. Chelsea qualified for the last 8 too after surviving a scare against Wrexham.

The first game of the week was Liverpool's visit to Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Reds lost their last match against the same opponent in the Premier League, but looked back to their best this time.
