<p>India Test captain Virat Kohli, turns a year older today and is celebrating his 31st birthday. Virat Kohli is currently holidaying in Bhutan and took to social media site Instagram to share a photo along with his 'soulmate'.</p>
<p>In his post along with none other than his actress wife Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli went onto describe that is blessed to visit such divine places with Anushka.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Virat Kohli took to Instagram and shared a wonderful picture of him and Anushka Sharma enjoying a meal at a table that is overlooking hills and he captioned it: "What a blessing to be able to visit such divine places with my soulmate. Also thank you everyone for your kind wishes from the bottom of my heart."</p>

<p>Earlier in the day, Virat Kohli also took to social media and share a note that he wrote to his younger teen self 'Chiku'. Here's what his note read:</p>
<p>"Hi Chiku, First of all, a very birthday! I am sure you have a lot of questions for me about your future. I am sorry but I am not going to answer too many of them. Because not knowing what is in store makes every surprise sweet, every challenge thrilling and every disappointment an opportunity to learn. You don't realise it today but it's more about the journey than the destination. And the journey is SUPER!"</p>
<p>"What I will tell you is that life has big things in store for you Virat. But you need to be ready for each and every opportunity that comes your way. Grab it when it comes. And never take what you have for granted. You will fail. Everyone does. Just promise yourself that you'll never forget to rise. And if at first you don't, try again," the note further added.</p>
<p>Virat Kohli is widely recognised as one of the finest batsmen to have ever played the game. In 82 Test matches, he has scored 7,066 runs which include 26 centuries and 22 fifties. In 239 ODIs, he has scored 11,520 runs at a brilliant average of 60.31.</p>
<p>In T20I cricket, Kohli has played 72 matches and he has amassed 2,450 runs at an average of 50.00, scoring 22 fifties.</p>
