Cricket to trial stop clocks to speed up play in ODIs and T20Is

The ICC board also approved new gender eligibility regulations for the international game following a 9-month consultation process

The International Cricket Council (ICC) Board in a meeting on Monday decided on the introduction of stop clocks on a trial basis in men's ODI, and T20I cricket from December 2023 for regulation of time taken between overs.

"The International Cricket Council (ICC) Board met today and confirmed the terms of the suspension of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC)," read a statement from ICC.
