Cricket Australia (CA) has launched an investigation into an incident involving flamboyant all-rounder <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/cricket/photo/in-photos-iconic-matches-played-at-wankhede-stadium-98506/1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Glenn Maxwell</a>, who had to be rushed to a hospital following a late-night party in Adelaide last week.

According to Daily Telegraph, Maxwell was out drinking and watching a concert by &lsquo;Six and Out&rsquo;, the band featuring former Australian fast bowler <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/cricket/article/india-were-definitely-favourites-tenacity-helped-aussies-win-title-23320960" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Brett Lee</a>, when he felt unwell.
CA said it is aware of the incident involving the all-rounder who played a key role in Australia&rsquo;s triumphant World Cup campaign in India last October-November.
