<p>Visuals widely circulated on social media showed locals having gathered in numbers outside his residence to pay their last respects to the martyred soldier.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Alongwith Colonel Manpreet, Major Ashish Dhonchak and DSP, Jammu and Kashmir Police, Humayun Bhat were also martyred in an encounter that broke out on Wednesday.</p>
