West Asia conflict: India approved docking of 3 Iranian ships, says Jaishankar

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar told Parliament that India granted permission to three Iranian ships to dock at Indian ports after Tehran requested it on February 28, with approval given the next day. Iran had sought India's permission for three of its ships to dock at Indian ports and the approval was granted the next day, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Monday, amid tensions in the Indian Ocean region following sinking of an Iranian warship by the US last week.

In a statement in the Parliament, Jaishankar said one Iranian vessel, IRIS LAVAN, docked in Kochi on March 4 reported PTI.
