IMD issues yellow alert for parts of Maharashtra, predicts rain and thunderstorm

According to the IMD’s district forecast, districts including Sholapur, Parbhani, Latur, Dharashiv and Chandrapur are likely to experience heavy rain over the next few days

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for several districts in Maharashtra, forecasting rainfall and thunderstorm during the week.

The weather department has predicted unseasonal showers in parts of state during the period.
