ACB arrests MSEDCL assistant engineer for accepting Rs 1.5 lakh bribe in Raigad

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested an assistant engineer of the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) in Raigad for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 1.5 lakh, reported the PTI.
According to the officials, the corruption case involves a person who had applied for a consent letter to install a 200 KV transformer for business purposes at Pali, Khalapur in Raigad district of Maharashtra.
