Congress general secretary, Digvijay Singh on Saturday slammed Gujarat Chief Minister for saying he was a &ldquo;Hindu nationalist.&rdquo; <img alt="" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/jul/Digvijay-Singh.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 398px;" /> Displaying his anger on a social networking site Singh tweeted, &ldquo;Shouldn&rsquo;t we all be nationalist Indians rather than Hindu nationalists or Muslim nationalists or Sikh nationalists or Christian nationalists,&rdquo; He further attacked the BJP&rsquo;s Election Campaign Committee chief for showcasing himself as a Hindu nationalist, Singh tweeted, &ldquo;Don&#39;t divide this great nation on basis of religion which (Veer) Savarkar and Jinnah did. They were the original authors of the two-nation theory.&rdquo; In an interview to a newswire agency, Modi had said, &ldquo;I am nationalist. I&rsquo;m patriotic. I am a born Hindu. Nothing is wrong. So yes, you can say I&rsquo;m a Hindu nationalist because I&rsquo;m a born Hindu.&rdquo;
