On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026, the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) will operate two key stations of Mumbai Metro Line-3 — Marol Naka and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) — entirely with women staff on Sunday, March 8, in a move aimed at highlighting women’s empowerment in the urban transport sector.
According to MMRC, a total of 85 women personnel will manage operations at the two stations across different shifts during the day.
