Illegal parking at bus stops: Traffic police impose Rs 10.51 lakh in fines

In a bid to tackle the growing problem of vehicles parking at bus stops — causing inconvenience to the public and endangering commuter safety — the Mumbai Traffic Police (MTP) recently conducted a special enforcement drive across the city.
During the operation, 26,462 cases were registered against violators, and fines amounting to Rs 10,51,600 were collected.
