<p>A Class 11 student allegedly killed himself in <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-crime-news/article/palghar-wall-collpse-cops-launch-investigations-after-three-women-labourers-die-in-incident-23290827" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Palghar</a> district's <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/virar-all" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Virar</a> area.</p>
<p>The body of the 16-year-old teenage boy was found in a water-filled quarry in Sai Dutt Nagar area on Wednesday.</p>
<p>Sub-inspector Sanjay Chavan of Virar police station, said, "The boy's mother reprimanded him for skipping classes on Monday after which he walked out of house and went missing."</p>
<p>"He apparently ended life by jumping into the quarry," the police official added.</p>
<p>More details awaited. "Further probe is going on," the police said.</p>
