I’ll call you once I reach London: Pilot Sumit Sabharwal's last words to father

Just three days ago, there was a conversation between father and son, in which Air India Pilot Sumit Sabharwal had said, “I’m going to leave my job now and take care of you”

Shiv Sena MLA Dilip Lande on Thursday evening rushed to the house of Sumit Sabharwal, the pilot of Air India flight that crashed in Gujarat's Ahmedabad following the incident and met with his 88-year-old father in Powai area of suburban Mumbai.

According to MLA Dilip Lande, Sumit had spoken to his father before flying to London.

“I’ll call you once I reach London,” he had told him, Lande said.
