He came into limelight through his portrayal of Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna in 'Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev' and 'Mahabharat'. However, actor Sourabh Raaj Jain says he doesn't like to categorise his work as "fiction or mythology".

"So far I have done only three mythological shows 'Jai Shri Krishna', 'Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev' and 'Mahabharat'. Other than that, all have been fiction like 'Remix', 'Meet Mila De Rabba' and 'Uttaran'. I don't categorise my work as fiction or mythology. If it suits my creative sensibilities I take it," Sourabh, who is currently hosting the show 'Arth' on 92.7 BIG FM, told IANS.
