`Andaz Apna Apna` does not fail to make you laugh even when you watch the film 28 years after its release. The film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi starred Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, and Karisma Kapoor in lead roles. The film also starred Paresh Rawal and Shakti Kapoor in pivotal roles.

The film recently completed 28 years since it was released. To mark the occasion, Raveena Tandon took to her Twitter handle to share a couple of behind the scene pictures from the sets of the film. 

In one of the pictures, the cast of the film is seen playing with Sachin Tendulkar. The mahurat shot was done by the cricketer. 

The film took three years to complete and did not do well at the box office. Santoshi claimed that the film`s failure was linked to it not being released and distributed well due to a new distributor. However, in the later years, the film achieved cult classic status with its dialogues and characters becoming a part of pop culture. "Teja main hu. Mark Idhar hai", "Crime Master Gogo, Mogambo ka Bhatija", "Do dost ek cup me chay piyenge" etc., are popular dialogues from the film

Meanwhile, earlier this year, it was reported that director Rajkumar Santoshi is working on the sequel to the film and that it is in the writing stage. He said that he will go ahead with it only if he is satisfied with the final story.
