Kareena Kapoor has been busy shooting for her first production helmed by Hansal Mehta.  The actress will be seen playing the role of a cop in the yet-untitled thriller

Kareena has been shooting for the project in the towns of London. On Wednesday, the actress dropped a couple of pictures from the sets of the film

Talking about the film,a source revealed to mid-day.com, “In the sequence, Kareena’s cop character is seen investigating a crime in a residential area. It’s a raw and gritty movie, in keeping with Hansal’s brand of cinema. Kareena counts it among her most intense roles, and did several workshops before they began filming from October 6.” 

The leading lady, who is backing the film with producer-friend Ekta Kapoor, sports a no-nonsense look. “Her on-screen avatar comprises solid shirts, teamed with trousers and blazers in dark hues. Mickey Contractor has given her minimal make-up, with her hair tied in a bun or ponytail.”

This is also the first time that Hansal and Kareena are collaborating. Talking about working with Kareena, Hansal told mid-day, “Kareena comes well-prepared on the set, and knows the script inside out. [That said], she is just as quick to adapt. If I suggest a new approach, her instinct kicks in. An actor essentially responds to the moment that has been written, and she does that effortlessly".
