Dhawan is making a comeback after a gap of four years with &quot;Chashme Buddoor&quot; remake and for the first time he did not cast his lucky charms Govinda, Sanjay Dutt and Anil Kapoor. The film will see a bevy of young talents including Ali Zafar, Taapsee Pannu and Divyendu Sharma. It also stars southern star Siddharth, who made his debut with Aamir Khan starrer &quot;Rang De Basanti&quot; in 2006. &quot;I was enjoying a small break from films in these years. One day the studio bosses of Viacom 18 Motion Pictures approached me and asked me to make a remake of 1981 film &#39;Chashme Buddoor&#39;. I agreed to do that because it was a hit of that time and was close to my heart because the then actors in the film are good friends of mine. &quot;I changed the script with writer Sai Paranjpye almost eighty per cent and gave it a today&#39;s feel. I scouted for actors and think have got best of the lot. They all are extremely talented and keen to learn actors,&quot; Dhawan said. &quot;Chashme Buddoor&quot; will release on April 5, the day on which the original film was released 32 years ago. Dhawan&#39;s last release was &quot;Rascals&quot; which starred Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt and was a major dud at the box-office. He says the lose script of the film was the main reason behind its failure. &quot;There were many things that went wrong in the film major being the script. It was not in sync with today&#39;s time,&quot; the director said. Dhawan is excited with the way his sons&#39; - Rohit and Varun - careers in the Bollywood are shaping up. Rohit made his debut as a director with &quot;Desi Boys&quot; and Varun entered the industry with Karan Johar&#39;s &quot;Student of the Year&quot;. &quot;I am proud of my sons. They didn&#39;t take my help to launch them. I was always with them as a guiding light. Varun has got a dream start with Karan&#39;s film and Rohit gave a hit &#39;Desi Boys&#39; with his first film,&quot; he said. Dhawan is working next with his son Varun in &quot;Main Tera Hero&quot;.
