The kind of performance she has given in this film is amazing. The way she was involved with the film was tremendous. Wait and watch Sonam,&quot; Rai told PTI. Sonam, daughter of actor Anil Kapoor, made her debut with &#39;Saawariya&#39; in 2007 which did not do well at the box office. After a string of unsuccessful films including &#39;Thank You&#39;, &#39;Mausam&#39; and &#39;Players&#39;, she is now gearing up for &#39;Raanjhanaa&#39;, where she will be seen essaying the role of a girl-next-door. The 27-year-old has big projects like &#39;Bhaag Milkha Bhaag&#39; and &#39;Khoobsurat&#39; remake, besides a YRF untitled film opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. The world may be familiar with Sonam&#39;s fashionista side, but the director reveals that in reality she is a simple girl. &quot;After meeting and talking to Sonam and her family while narrating her this film, I realised that she is a middle class girl. She is next-door-girl. She behaves in the same way as any girl would behave,&quot; Rai said. &#39;Raanjhanaa&#39;, slated to release on June 21, is a story of a Hindu boy who falls in love with a Muslim girl. u00a0
