Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who was last seen in Singham Again, is questioning the authorities in the Maharashtra administration over their failure to curb air pollution in the entertainment capital of the country. On Thursday, the actress took to the Stories section of her Instagram and shared the AQI data of the city. The picture shows the average AQI of Mumbai to be around 150.

Deepika posted a screengrab of Mumbai's pollution levels. Expressing concern about the situation in the city, the actor wrote that the people living in Mumbai, especially children, are struggling to breathe due to the worsening air quality. Her post read, "The citizens of this city and its children are choking! How is this okay!? @my_bmc | @mybmchealth please help!"
