The Om Shanti Om girl launched a fairness beauty product at a suburban hotel. The actress kept up appearances flashing her pearlies, but what was starkly evident was her drastic weight loss. The actress looked like a much skinnier version of her former self and her off-shoulder dress only accentuated it. Wasn't easy Although she continued to work through her heartbreak, it is now evident that the break-up wasn't easy on her. The young actress has lost her guy in publicu00a0-- and her weight in private, away from prying eyes. Immediately after the split, Deepika took off for Abu Dhabi to be part of the Formula One Grand Prix in early November. After this outing, she stayed away from the media glare and refused to comment about the break-up. Later, she spent time with her family at a relative's wedding in the US. Shedding inches Says a source close to the actress, "Deepika has been doing yoga regularly. She has been careful about her weight but now she has gone a step further and has shed inches due to her personal turmoil." Adds the source, "Deepika went into a shell after her relationship with Ranbir went kaput. She was under the media scanner and that has taken a toll even though she is putting on a strong front that all is well. She wants to immerse herself in work." Deepika remained unavailable for comment
