It has been reported that Riteish Deshmukh will essay the role of Marathi film actor, Dada Kondke in a film directed by Mohit Suri and co-produced by Akshay Kumar and Ashwini Yardi.

Both Akshay and Ashwini have bought the rights of a book, Ekta Jeev by Anita Padhye which is based on the life of the veteran actor.

Dada Kondke Pratishthan, an organisation run by the actor&rsquo;s co-stars Usha Chavan and Vasant Bhalekar holds the rights to all his films.

So they have sent a letter to the makers expressing their views."
